SPECIALIST COMMUNITIES OF INTEREST
There are numerous specialist communities of interest, of all sizes and degrees of formality, that might be useful to join if you are a freelancer working in and around MedComms. The list below provides a wide range of opportunities to engage with like-minded others. Please send us details if you know of any we are missing.
Some of these are strictly networking groups for freelancers only and can provide valuable support if you are working on your own. Others are larger groups and provide great opportunities to network with potential clients as well as to benefit from learning opportunities. Some are intended to serve as platforms to match clients who are looking for freelancers. Some are free to join. Some charge a fee.
There seems to be something for everyone. But, if you're still not finding quite what you're looking for, then set something up yourself. Let us know and we'll happily help spread the word!
There are also individual #MedComms freelancers organising local groups who regularly meet informally, in person, for instance for coffee, lunch or dinner. To find out more, reach out to these individuals. If you know of any more let me know.
